Multi-Factor Authentication

Steps to Configure MFA

After inputting username and default password, window prompts the

user to change password

Once password is changed, the  window asks for MFA

After clicking on next

Install the Microsoft authenticator app and click Next

Go to your Microsoft authenticator app and add the account on it. When prompted for the type of account, select “Work or school”. Once that is done, click next and the following window pops up

Step 8

On the Microsoft authenticator app, select “Scan QR code” and scan the QR code displayed on the screen. Once that is done, the account should be added to the Microsoft authenticator app

A notification is sent to the app to approve access to the account. Once approved, the screen on the right pops up

Another method is shown in the window where you can set up your phone number as well

Once the phone number is verified, a confirmation message will show up on the window

After clicking next, a success message is shown

After clicking “Done” a message asking if the customer wants to stay signed in is displayed

Upon clicking “Yes”, the MFA process has been completed and the user is shown the welcome window and can start using the platform
